Sarkodie denies ignoring Kofi Mole during music video shoot
Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has rejected claims made by filmmaker Yaw Skyface that he refused to appear in the “Makoma” music video with fellow musician Kofi Mole. In a social media post, an enraged Sarkodie begged the director and journalists to cease spreading false information about him.
Sarkodie said he was unaware of the music video shoot and that his absence was due to miscommunication. “Yaa momma me din nda kakra me sr3 mo,” which translates to “Let my name rest, I’m pleading with you,” he said.
He continued, “I have no information about this, and if it did happen, there was a misunderstanding somewhere. Only answering because I love my superstar Kofi Mole. I don’t play games…
Yaw Skyface previously stated on Hitz FM that their crew had set two meetings with Sarkodie for a song video, but he failed to attend.
“Yeah, we scheduled two days and he didn’t show up. Kofi Mole was in conversation with Sarkodie, but the dates were not convenient for him. We can’t keep waiting… It does not make sense. “I’m not sure who Kofi was talking to, but I believe the date was not working for Sarkodie,” he responded.
