I Won’t Accept the Verdict Today or Tomorrow – Akosua Serwaa Speaks Out as She Exposes Daddy Lumba

Akosua Serwaa, the wife of the late Daddy Lumba has reacted to the verdict by the Kumasi High Court presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Dorinda Smith Arthur.

Akosua Serwaa has said that she is never going to stop fighting for what is rightfully hers, hence, she would go for an appeal to ensure that the right thing is being done.

Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson FM, Lawyer Kusi disclosed that he had a personal chat with Akosua Serwaa following the court’s verdict, and she asked that she wouldn’t accept, so, they should proceed with an appeal.

“She said she will not accept it today or tomorrow. She said she cannot marry Daddy Lumba under German law because people told her that she divorced before the musician bought the farm”, Lawyer Kusi said.

Lawyer Kusi noted that, they always believe that the judgment was wrong, so, they support Akosua Serwaa, stating that “We also in our opinion as well believe that the judgement was wrong so we are going to prosecute the appeal”.

When asked why Akosua Serwaa is doing all these, Lawyer Kusi said that “she protested against how Lumba was treating her before his death. They had three children and were living okay until Lumba told her that he wanted to come to Ghana to do something but never returned. The time she realized, Lumba had impregnated many girls. She knew that was not fair and he wasn’t giving her the necessary attention so a lawyer was engaged and the lawyer replied after the death of Lumba”.
