Guinness World Record Holder and Ghanaian Artist Sharon Dede Padi Passes Away

The Ghanaian arts and culture community has been thrown into mourning following the death of renowned visual artist, poet, cultural advocate, and Guinness World Record holder, Sharon Dede Padi, affectionately known as Padiki.
According to reports, Padiki passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the age of 50. The circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been made public.
