Kweku Flick Teams Up With Shatta Wale On New Single ‘Sweet’

Kumasi-based rapper and singer Kweku Flick has announced a new single titled Sweet, and he has brought in dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale for the ride.

The Frango hitmaker made the announcement on his Instagram page on Monday, 19 October 2026, sharing a short clip with the official cover art. In the caption, he told fans that Sweet featuring Shatta Wale will be out on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, and asked them to get their “tapping boots” ready.

What we know about Sweet so far

The cover art is bright green, with the word “Sweet” written in bold yellow letters across Kweku Flick’s silhouette and both artistes’ names printed underneath.

In the announcement, Kweku Flick tagged producer Khendi Beatz beside a drum emoji, and Osei Amoah behind the camera. Three days earlier, on 16 October, he had already teased the title with a photo captioned simply “$weet”.

Fans flooded the comment section with fire emojis within hours, with some asking for the music video to drop alongside the song.

Kweku Flick and Shatta Wale go way back

This is not the first time the two are working together. Both appeared on Shatta Wale’s Ahodwo Las Vegas, alongside Amerado, Kofi Jamar, King Paluta, Phrimpong, Ypee and Phaize.

Kweku Flick has also spoken openly about what he learnt from the Shatta Movement boss, telling MyJoyOnline that Shatta Wale exposed him to the business side of music.

Shatta Wale is coming off a busy month, having headlined ShattaFest Accra 2026 on 17 October after releases such as Spiritual School. Kweku Flick’s last solo single was Frango, and he also featured on Sarkodie’s Odo Pa.
