Kofi Mole Balotelli (Supa) is the song of the moment in Ghana. Seven weeks after it dropped, it sits at number two on the Shazam Top 200 Ghana and number four on the Apple Music Top 100: Ghana as of 24 October 2026, and it is still climbing. If you have heard a crowd shout “Balotelli” at a party in Accra or Kumasi this month, this is the record behind it.

The official audio went up on Kofi Mole’s YouTube channel on 4 September 2026 and has passed 334,000 views. The song is a solo record; Kofi Mole carries it alone, with the football name in the hook doing the heavy lifting.

The 4 Da Poppin’ EP

Balotelli (Supa) comes off 4 Da Poppin’, a four-track EP Kofi Mole released on 4 September 2026 across the streaming platforms. He teased it with the line “4 tracks. 3 heavy features. One EP.” The features on the project are Sefa, Quamina MP and Kuami Eugene. Balotelli is the one that has run away with the public.

Kofi Mole has been part of the Ghanaian rap scene for a while, with earlier records such as “Don’t Be Late” in 2019 and “Yabre” with Fameye in 2020. Balotelli (Supa) is comfortably the biggest chart run of his career so far, and it has done it the old-fashioned way: the song took time to build, then went everywhere at once.

Why Balotelli is climbing

Look at the numbers. On the Apple Music chart the song has been listed for 19 days and already peaked at number four, in a top ten that Kweku Smoke’s No Days Off album has otherwise locked down. On Shazam, where people search for songs they hear in public, it is number two in the whole country. Those are two different crowds, the streamers and the people hearing it in trotros and at events, and both are on it.
