Sista Afia – Boss It (Official Visualiser)
New music from Sista Afia is live, as the visualiser for Sista Afia Boss It has landed on her official YouTube channel. The singer from Accra uploaded the clip on 16 October 2026 as “BOSS IT (Visualizer)”.
The visualiser follows the audio slide for the same song, which went up on the channel on 9 October. Fans have had the track for a week, and now they have a visual to go with it.
The release comes through Ace Kandi Records, which holds the rights to the upload. A stream link for the song is on the YouTube page, so listeners can find the single on their preferred platform without searching around.
Her social pages are linked there too. She is on Facebook as sistaafia1, on Instagram as sista.afia and on Twitter as sista_afia. Those are the places to follow if you want to see how fans react to the song in real time.
Sista Afia has been steady with her output this year. Boss It is the latest in a run of singles that began in March and has moved at a regular pace since.
She opened the run with “Kor (Thank You)”, which came as an audio slide on 12 March. The official music video, titled “Thank You”, followed on 2 April.
Next came “Motherfxcker”. The audio slide arrived on 14 August and the official video on 4 September. A clean version followed on 12 September for listeners who want a cut without the strong language. If you missed that release, we covered it in our earlier post on Sista Afia’s Motherfxcker.
The pattern is easy to see. Sista Afia puts out the audio first, lets it settle with listeners, and then follows with a video or visual. Boss It has gone the same way, with the audio slide on 9 October and the visualiser a week later.
That gap matters for fans who like to learn a song before they see it. By the time the visualiser arrived, the chorus and the mood of the track were already familiar to anyone who had played the audio slide. It is a patient way to roll out a single, and it gives each upload its own moment.
For readers who know her mainly from the headlines, a little background helps. Sista Afia, whose full name is Franchesca Duncan Williams Gawugah, was born on 8 November 1994 and is from Accra. She is a singer and songwriter whose music sits in the Afropop space.
She grew up in Accra and Kumasi and attended Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute. She then moved to the United Kingdom to study nursing. She is also the niece of Bishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
Music pulled her back home. Sista Afia returned to Ghana in 2015 to start her career, and she has named Bisa Kdei as an inspiration. The two worked together on the song “Kro Kro No”.
Her breakthrough came with the single “Jeje”, which features the dancehall artist Shatta Wale and Afezi Perry. The song brought her recognition across Ghana and set the course for the career she has built since.
Away from music, she is the founder of the Sista Cooks Foundation. Through it she has fed thousands of vulnerable children and women across the country over the years. She has also urged fellow musicians to join forces and give back to society.
Watch and stream Sista Afia Boss It
The Sista Afia Boss It visualiser is on her official YouTube channel, and it is the easiest place to start. Subscribing there means the next upload will reach you as soon as it goes live.
If you prefer to listen without the screen, the audio slide from 9 October is still on the same channel. The stream link on the upload page will take you to the song on the available platforms.
The visualiser sits alongside her official videos and audio slides, so the channel now carries most of her 2026 singles in one place. You can move from Boss It to Motherfxcker to Thank You in a single sitting and hear how the year has shaped up.
Many fans have been searching for the Sista Afia Boss It audio and the video, and both are now out. For anyone looking for a new Sista Afia song this month, this is the one to find.
She has not slowed down since returning to Ghana in 2015, and the regular release schedule shows she plans to stay in the conversation. Watch the visualiser, stream the single and tell us in the comments what you make of Boss It.
