Joe Mettle Heads to Kigali for Praise Unlimited 2026 at BK Arena

Ghanaian gospel minister Joe Mettle will lead worship in Rwanda this weekend. He is one of the headline acts on Praise Unlimited 2026, a live recording concert at the BK Arena in Kigali on Sunday, 25 October 2026.

Rwandan news outlet IGIHE shared a short video invitation from the singer on X on Saturday, with the caption “Kigali, Joe Mettle is calling you to worship!” The post points fans to the ticket page and tags the organisers, Halal Afrika.

Praise Unlimited 2026: date, venue and what to expect

According to the official flyer, Praise Unlimited is billed as “a live recording concert”. It starts at 5:00pm on Sunday, 25 October, at the BK Arena in Kigali. Gospel Time reports that Halal Afrika is putting on the event with Authentic Events, and that the songs ministered on the night will be recorded live.

Tickets are sold on ticqet.rw, and fans in Rwanda can also buy by dialling *513*1*2#, as stated on the flyer. Ticket prices were not on the flyer.

Who else is on the Praise Unlimited bill?

Joe Mettle is not the only Ghanaian on the lineup. Grace Charles is also billed to perform. The full list on the flyer is:

  • Ghana: Joe Mettle, Grace Charles
  • Rwanda: Israel Mbonyi, Ben & Chance, René & Tracy, True Promises Ministries
  • South Africa: Lebo Sekgobela, OnceMore Six
  • Tanzania: Bella Kombo
  • Nigeria: Emeka Songsz
  • Kenya: Evelyn Wanjiru

For a single night, that is a big pan-African gospel lineup, with acts from East, West and Southern Africa on one stage.

Joe Mettle’s run on the road

The Kigali date puts Joe Mettle on one of East Africa’s major stages. Back home, he made history in 2017 as the first gospel act to win Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards. He also hosts his own Praise Reloaded concert in Accra. Rwandan gospel site Nkunda Gospel introduced him to local fans ahead of the show with songs such as “Onwanwani” and “Nhyira”.

If you are catching up on his catalogue before Sunday, start with his song “This Year”, and see where his classics sit on our list of the best Ghana gospel songs. It has been a busy month for Ghana gospel generally, with Diana Hamilton also releasing her testimony song “W’ate M’anim (You Have Honoured Me)”.
