Medikal is billed to perform at the Sacred Crown Awards 2026 (SCA 26), which takes place this Saturday, 31 October 2026, at The Dome of the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

The AMG Business rapper shared the official performer flyer on Instagram on Wednesday with a short caption, “I’m performing live”, after teasing fans earlier in the day with another post that read “Saturday we outside”.

Sacred Crown Awards 2026: date, venue and what to expect

According to the flyer, the ceremony starts at 4pm at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel (The Dome). The event carries the theme “Celebrating African Heritage, Spirituality & Wellness”, and the dress code is listed as “Royal African Elegance”, so guests are expected to turn up in traditional African wear.

The flyer also carries the names of the Ga Traditional Council, the Ga Supreme Paramount Stool and the Ga Mantse Foundation. Medikal has not shared details of his set or which songs he will perform.

What are the Sacred Crown Awards?

The Sacred Crown Awards is a new scheme. The Ga Mantse and President of the Ga Traditional Council, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, launched it on 5 June 2026 at the same La Palm venue, as reported by the Daily Graphic at the time. This year’s edition is the first.

The awards were set up under the Ga Mantse’s royal patronage. They are meant to honour individuals, institutions, cultural custodians, spiritual leaders and wellness practitioners who promote African heritage. They rest on three pillars: African heritage, spirituality and wellness.

A busy season for Medikal

The booking adds to a busy few weeks for the rapper. He recently featured alongside Beatz Vampire on Kojo Blak’s ‘Ability’. Earlier this season he also put out ‘Sika’ with Shatta Wale and joined Kelvyn Boy on ‘Allo’.
