Strongman – Disco (ft. Kweku Darlington)

Strongman has teamed up with Kweku Darlington on a new Afrobeats single, and Strongman Disco is now available to stream on his official YouTube channel. The audio went up on 6 November 2026.

The song is called “Disco” and carries both names, Strongman & Kweku Darlington. Strongman leads the record, with Kweku Darlington joining him as the featured artist.

FreddyBeatz produced the track. It comes through Strong Empire, with digital distribution handled by MiPROMO, and the release is marked 2026.

The upload is an audio slide, so listeners get the full song with a simple visual. It sits on the same channel where Strongman has put out most of his music this year.

The record is Afrobeats at its core, and it has the kind of bounce that suits a night out. Strongman moves between rapping and singing in Twi, and he drops in English phrases along the way. Ghanaian listeners know that mix well from Hiplife and from the newer wave of Afrobeats.

The chorus is made to be sung back, while the verses give Strongman room to rap in his usual direct manner. Kweku Darlington adds a second voice to the record, which gives the song a change of texture. That is my own reaction, and others may hear it differently.

The balance between rap and melody has run through much of Strongman’s recent work. It makes Strongman Disco an easy fit for a party playlist and just as easy to play on a late-night drive.

The song follows a steady run of music from the rapper over the past six months. On 2 October 2026 he uploaded “Everlasting” featuring Ayisi as a lyrics video.

Before that, on 10 September 2026, he shared “The Statement” as a visualiser. We covered that release at the time, and you can read our earlier story on Strongman releasing The Statement.

On 21 August 2026 came “Yaanom” featuring Tinny, uploaded as an audio slide. On 24 July 2026 he put out “League of My Own” with Sarkodie, also as an audio slide.

“The Legacy” arrived on 12 May 2026 as an audio slide. Eleven days before it, on 1 May 2026, he released the official video for “Akua Donkor” featuring DarkoVibes.

Counting Disco, that makes seven uploads in about six months. Sarkodie, DarkoVibes, Tinny, Ayisi and now Kweku Darlington have all appeared on his records in 2026, and he has mixed those collaborations with solo releases such as “The Legacy” and “The Statement”.

The formats have changed from release to release. Fans have had an official video, a lyrics video, a visualiser and several audio slides, all on his own channel. Four of the seven uploads, including this one, are audio slides.

The spacing between releases also tells a story. After “The Legacy” in May, the next upload came 73 days later with “League of My Own”. From that point the gaps shortened to 28 days, then 20, then 22, and the new single follows “Everlasting” by 35 days. For a rapper with one official video this year, that is a steady flow of new music for his followers to keep up with.

The new single arrives as the year moves into its final weeks. Ghanaian listeners usually start looking for fresh party records at this point, ahead of the festive season. A song with a lively chorus and a guest feature has a fair chance of finding a place in those playlists.

For Kweku Darlington, the song adds another high-profile feature to the year. For Strongman, it adds one more name to a guest list that already includes some of the most familiar voices in Ghanaian music. The production from FreddyBeatz leaves space for both of them.
