Wendy Shay to Perform at Ghana Music Awards UK 2026 in London

Wendy Shay is taking her stagecraft to London. The singer has announced that she will be one of the special guests at the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK 2026 (GMA UK 26), which comes off on Saturday, 31st October at the Royal Regency in East London.

She broke the news on Instagram on Sunday, sharing the official flyer with a short caption urging fans in the UK to get their tickets. “Let’s celebrate Ghana music on 31st October in UK inside Royal Regency,” she wrote.

According to the flyer, this year’s ceremony marks the 10th anniversary of the GMA UK, with the organisers running the hashtags #GMAUK10YEARS and #OurMusicOurCulture. The event will be held at Royal Regency, 501 High Street North, London E12 6TH. The red carpet opens at 7pm, with the main show starting at 9pm.

• VVIP – £100
• VIP – £80
• Regular (1st release) – £70
• Regular (2nd release) – £60
• Regular (3rd release) – £50

A busy season for Wendy Shay

The London appearance comes during an active stretch for the “Bendova” singer. Last month she teamed up with Lasmid on Bend Over (Bendova), and she also put out September, following her earlier single 4 Play.

For Ghanaians in the UK, the night offers a mix of highlife, hiplife, gospel and Afrobeats acts on one bill, together with the awards themselves. Wendy Shay has not yet said which songs she will perform.
