Sarkodie Announces ‘Cold’ as Second Single From Deja Vu EP

Sarkodie is not slowing down. Just days after headlining Rapperholic Kumasi 2026 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the rapper has announced “Cold” as the second single from his upcoming Deja Vu EP.

He made the announcement on X early on Wednesday, 28 October, writing that the “Second single off #DeJaVu EP #Cold out this Friday 30th October!!” The post came with the EP’s artwork and a new photo of the rapper, plus a pre-save link for the song.

When will Sarkodie’s Cold be released?

According to Sarkodie’s post, “Cold” will be released on Friday, 30 October 2026. Fans can already pre-save it through the link he shared, which lists the song simply as “Sarkodie – Cold”.

No featured artist, producer or video has been announced for the track yet. We will update this story when the song drops.

What we know about the Deja Vu EP

“Cold” follows the title track, “Deja Vu” featuring KiDi, which Sarkodie released earlier this month as the first single from the project. At the time, he said the EP itself would be out on 27 November 2026.

The artwork he shared today shows the rapper in an all-white outfit, holding up a vintage microphone in front of a red stage curtain, with “Deja Vu” written across the bottom in red script.

The first single is still getting attention online. On Tuesday, Sarkodie reshared a fan’s post praising “Deja Vu” with the simple caption “Tune”, and KiDi also reacted when the rapper reposted the song’s link.

Fresh off Rapperholic Kumasi

The new release comes on the back of a big weekend in Kumasi. Sarkodie headlined Rapperholic Kumasi 2026 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday, 24 October, and in an Instagram post he said over 55,000 people showed up for the show. He later thanked SarkNation and called for more investment in the creative economy.

Before the show, Shatta Wale wished him well on X, and the dancehall star came back afterwards to congratulate him.

Sarkodie also has Rapperholic UK at The O2 in London lined up for 6 March 2027, so the Deja Vu rollout looks set to carry him into a busy few months.
