Kweku Smoke – Set It Straight (Official Music Video)

Kweku Smoke Set It Straight is now an official music video, and the Ghanaian rapper put it on YouTube on 30 October 2026. The visual comes from his project NO DAYS OFF.

Purple Child Creations directed the video. The song itself arrived with the full project on 4 September 2026 through Scatter Der, so this release gives an album cut its own moving picture eight weeks later.

Kweku Smoke is the only artist on the song. He carries the record alone, with no guest verse to share the space.

Set It Straight is the tenth track on NO DAYS OFF. It follows Life Of A Hustler and comes right before the title track, so it sits in the closing stretch of the project.

The full track list has 13 songs. It runs Soul Healer, Halleluyah, Okwantunii, Survivor, Bra, Mmereniho, Power House, Bombele, Life Of A Hustler, Set It Straight, No Days Off, Through The Pain and Faith.

It is a rap record, and Kweku Smoke keeps the focus on his own voice and delivery. Anyone who has followed him from the early freestyle days will know that is where he is most at home. In my view, a solo track late in the running order is a good place for a rapper to speak plainly to his listeners.

Placing it between Life Of A Hustler and No Days Off also gives the song a clear job in the sequence. It is part of the stretch that leads into the title track, and then into Through The Pain and Faith to close the project.

This is not the first visual push from the project. On 4 September, the day NO DAYS OFF came out, he put up audio visualizers for Soul Healer, Halleluyah and Okwantunii. Those are the first three songs on the track list, so the opening of the project got its pictures first.

The official music video for Bombele followed on 23 September. On 2 October he shared Mmereniho, which features Dikoo, and on 9 October a new upload for Okwantunii appeared on the channel.

The pattern is easy to follow. The rollout began at the front of the track list and has now moved into the second half with Set It Straight, three weeks after the latest Okwantunii upload. Each release has given fans a different song to focus on instead of leaving the project to be streamed as one block.

We also covered the Bra audio visualizer from the same project, if you want to hear another side of the tracklist.

For readers who are new to him, Kweku Smoke was born Paul Amankwah. He is a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter who attended Victory International School for basic education, then Benkum Senior High School. He later studied at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Early in his career he released freestyles under the name YRS. His wider breakthrough came in 2019, when a studio introduction led to a meeting with Sarkodie. Their collaboration on Yedin brought him far more public attention.

His album kweku Jesus came out on 8 March 2024 and reached number one on iTunes in Ghana shortly after release. Later that year he put out Born In Hell, a 10-track project that dealt more with personal hardship and growth.

On 18 December 2024 he headlined a concert called The Revival at GHUD Park, near Accra Mall. Other Ghanaian artists joined him on stage, and he performed some of his popular songs for the crowd.

The recognition has followed. At the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, he won Best Rap Performance for Holy Ghost.

NO DAYS OFF arrives with that record behind it. The name of the project tells you how he wants it to be read, as a body of work from an artist who keeps moving. The steady stream of visuals since September supports that picture.

If you have been waiting for a proper visual to go with the song, the wait is over. Watch the Kweku Smoke Set It Straight video, then play the rest of NO DAYS OFF from Soul Healer through to Faith. Tell us in the comments which track you have on repeat.
