Kofi Mole Celebrates Balotelli (Supa) Topping Ghana Spotify Playlist
Kofi Mole is in a thankful mood. The rapper has taken to his official Facebook page to celebrate his hit Balotelli (Supa) sitting at number one on a Ghana Spotify list, writing: “#1 on Spotify Thank you for playing BALOTELLI”.
The post carries a Spotify screenshot of a playlist titled “Top 100: Ghana on Spotify 2026”, credited as a playlist by Robbilicious. Balotelli (Supa) is in the first position, ahead of Kweku Smoke’s Bombele, Guapo by Dannyfreebandz and Medikal, and Fameye’s Gen Z.
What Kofi Mole shared
The message was short and direct, with no long speech, just the screenshot and a thank-you to everyone streaming the song. Fans flooded the comment section with congratulations, with one follower writing that it was good to see the rapper “back on the chart”.
It is worth being clear about what the screenshot shows. The list is a Top 100 Ghana playlist on Spotify compiled by a curator, rather than Spotify’s own weekly chart. Even so, landing above some of the biggest records in the country right now is a big moment for the song.
How Balotelli (Supa) got here
Balotelli (Supa) was first released on 4 September 2026 as the opening track of Kofi Mole’s four-track 4 Da Poppin’ EP, which also features Sefa, Quamina MP and Kuami Eugene. The song is a solo record, and it has slowly grown into the one fans keep shouting at parties.
As we reported in our Balotelli (Supa) feature, the record had already climbed to number two on the Shazam Top 200 Ghana and number four on the Apple Music Top 100: Ghana as of 24 October. The Spotify post adds another platform to that run.
A big season for Kofi Mole
Kofi Mole has been on the Ghanaian rap scene for years, with records like “Don’t Be Late” and “Yabre” with Fameye. Balotelli is shaping up as the biggest chart run of his career so far, and the rest of the EP is also getting attention, including Wayedew with Quamina MP.
If you are yet to hear what the noise is about, you can catch up with the song on our Balotelli page and see where it sits among the top Ghanaian songs right now.
