Kwabena Kwabena to Perform Live at Blackberry Lounge, Spintex on 21 November

Highlife singer Kwabena Kwabena will be on stage for a live night at Blackberry Lounge in Spintex, Accra, next month, according to a flyer shared on Instagram.

The announcement went up on 24 October as a joint post by Kwabena Kwabena, Blackberry Lounge, MX24 and MX24 Event Hub. It bills the show as “a night of timeless Ghanaian music” with the legendary singer performing live.

According to the flyer, the show comes off on Saturday, 21 November 2026, starting at 8pm at Blackberry Lounge, Spintex.

Tickets go for GH₵400. Fans can book by dialling 71333*68#, and the post also lists 054 693 8788 for table reservations.

The flyer does not name any supporting acts, so for now the night is billed as Kwabena Kwabena’s own show.

Familiar ground for the “Aso” hitmaker

Blackberry Lounge is not a new stage for Kwabena Kwabena. He performed at the lounge’s opening, and in October 2023 he was the act chosen to launch its Blackberry Live Saturdays (BLiS) live-music series.

The singer has also been busy on the live circuit in recent days. Zen Garden in Labone has shared clips of him on stage there in recent days, including at its Wednesday open mic session, and Kwabena Kwabena himself posted on Instagram on Friday that “a time was had”.

What fans can expect

Organisers have not published a setlist, but fans will be hoping for the love songs and highlife records that made his name. His catalogue has also grown through collaborations with younger acts, including “Ewor Me” with King Paluta.
