Beeztrap KOTM – More Jollof

Beeztrap KOTM drops new music to close out October, and Beeztrap KOTM More Jollof is now on his official YouTube channel as an audio upload. The single went live on 30 October 2026.

The song comes through Way Up Gang Entertainment, the label line attached to the release. It leans towards Afrobeats, a lane the Kumasi artist has moved in and out of comfortably throughout his career.

The upload carries the name of the artist and the song only, with no guest artists announced alongside it. That puts the spotlight squarely on Beeztrap himself, which suits a rapper and singer who has built his name on carrying a record alone.

For anyone who has followed him closely, More Jollof arrives at the end of a busy year of releases. It is the latest in a run of uploads that began in January and has barely paused since.

Edwin Eshun, as he is named on his birth certificate, was born on 17 October 1999 in Kumasi. He attended Kumasi Anglican Senior High School and began his music journey in 2018 with songs such as Cinderella and Distance Relationship.

He is regarded as a leading figure in the Asakaa drill scene, the Kumasi-rooted movement that gave Ghanaian drill its own accent and attitude. What makes Beeztrap different from many of his peers is how freely he mixes drill with hiplife, hip hop, Afrobeats and highlife.

That blend explains why a song called More Jollof, tagged as Afrobeats, fits his catalogue without any strain. He has never been confined to one sound, and his audience has followed him across the styles.

The recognition has come quickly. Beeztrap won Next Rated Act at the 2024 3Music Awards, then took Best New Artiste at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

His catalogue has grown steadily. In 2023 he put out the seven-track EP Different Type of Gangster, which featured O’Kenneth, Reggie and City Boy. A year later came the single Fly Girl with Oseikrom Sikanii, followed by a remix with Gyakie.

In August 2025 he released his debut studio album, Power. The 16-track project features Sarkodie, Gyakie, Himra and other artists. Over the years he has also worked with Tulenkey, Skyface SDW, Camidoh and Stonebwoy.

The audio for Beeztrap KOTM More Jollof is available to stream now on Beeztrap KOTM’s official YouTube channel. Search for the artist’s name and the song title and the upload should appear at the top.

It follows a steady stream of material from the channel in 2026. Highly arrived as an official video on 31 August, and Gangsta came as a lyric upload on 5 August.

Before that, Beeztrap shared the official video for Expensive Silence on 19 June. On 8 May he released an animated lyrics video for Peace Of Mind with Sarkodie, a pairing that brought one of Ghana’s biggest rappers onto his project again.

Earlier in the year, Labadi with Reggie and O’Kenneth landed first as audio on 23 January. The official video followed on 20 February. Reggie and O’Kenneth had already appeared on his 2023 EP, so the reunion made sense to those who track his circle.

Taken together, these releases show an artist who keeps his output regular and varies the format. Audio, official video, lyric visual and animated lyrics have all had their turn. Fans who like to hear a song first and wait for the visuals have been well served.

No video for More Jollof has been announced, so the audio is the version to stream for now. Given his pattern with Labadi, a visual could follow, but nothing is confirmed.

My own reaction is that the title alone will get people talking. Jollof is a subject every Ghanaian has an opinion on, and a Beeztrap record with that name is bound to start conversations in group chats and at weekend gatherings. What the song says is for listeners to judge once they hear it.
