Obrafour Shares How Sarkodie’s Respectful Gesture Leaves Him Embarrassed

Ghanaian rap legend Obrafour has opened up about how he truly feels when Sarkodie publicly kneels to greet him as a sign of respect. While he appreciates the gesture, Obrafour admits it often leaves him feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.

Speaking in a TikTok video spotted by MRKENBLOG, the veteran rapper explained that seeing Sarkodie prostrate before him makes him question whether he truly deserves such public reverence. According to him, the moment usually catches him off guard.

Obrafour, who played a key role in Sarkodie’s early music journey, acknowledged the bond and respect between them. However, he humbly added that everything good in his life comes from God, and at times, he feels that kind of deep reverence should be directed toward God rather than himself.

“Sarkodie is big, but anytime he sees me and wants to kneel before me, it embarrasses me,” Obrafour shared. “I ask myself, who am I for Sarkodie to lie on the floor for me?”
