Nacee Announces KAVOD 26 at the National Theatre
Gospel musician Nacee has confirmed that his KAVOD concert is returning, with the 2026 edition, billed as KAVOD 26, set for the National Theatre in Accra on Sunday, 8 November 2026.
The Aseda hitmaker made the announcement on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, telling fans that “the line-up is set” and describing the night as a blend of laughter, drama and music. The post carries the tagline “Where Comedy Meets Theatre and Music”.
KAVOD 26: date, venue and what to expect
According to Nacee’s post, KAVOD 26 will start at exactly 5:00 PM on 8 November at the National Theatre. Tickets are going for GHS 200 for Standard and GHS 300 for VIP, and the announcement lists a phone number fans can call to buy tickets.
Nacee has not named the performers or comedians on the bill in the caption. He says the line-up is ready, so names could come out in the coming days.
How the first KAVOD concert went
KAVOD is not new to gospel lovers. Nacee staged the maiden edition at the same National Theatre in November 2023, and it was built as a theatre-and-music show rather than a regular concert. MyJoyOnline reported at the time that comedians Foster Romanus and Clemento Suarez acted out a “Kavod FM” scene debating Nacee’s ‘Boys Boys’ collaboration with Guru. The play poked fun at the tension between secular and gospel music.
That first night drew big names from the gospel scene, including Sonnie Badu, Empress Gifty and Piesie Esther. Citi Newsroom also reported that his stage entrance left patrons in awe.
With the new edition again promising comedy, drama and music, fans can look forward to another theatre-style night rather than a straight concert.
What Nacee has been up to
The announcement caps a busy period for Nacee, who has been sharing behind-the-scenes clips from the making of his Aseda video. We recently featured his ‘Times and Seasons’, and his award-winning Aseda sits on our list of the best Ghana gospel songs.
KAVOD 26 also joins a packed gospel events calendar for the last quarter of the year, which includes Piesie Esther’s Flora Made By Grace 2026.
