Black Sherif Announces Sun Swagga Tour Canada Dates for Montreal, Calgary and Toronto

Black Sherif is finally taking his Sun Swagga Tour to Canada. The Konongo-born rapper shared the tour flyer on Instagram and X on Monday, 26 October, naming three cities, three venues and three dates for his Canadian run.

“Finally CANADA, Finally! Thank You for your Love and Patience!” he wrote, adding that the dates are now set and the tour website is open. He signed off by telling fans he can’t wait “to make History with You!”

Sun Swagga Tour Canada: dates, cities and venues

According to the flyer, the Canadian leg of the Sun Swagga Tour runs as follows:

• 26 February – Montreal, Club Soda
• 27 February – Calgary, The Arrowhead
• 5 March – Toronto, Queen Elizabeth Theatre

The shows fall in February and March 2027. Fans are being directed to blacksherifmusic.com/tour for tickets, which Blacko shared in his post on X. Ticket prices and supporting acts have not been announced on the flyer or in his caption.

Why Canadian fans have been waiting

The “Love and Patience” line in Blacko’s caption tells its own story. Canada has a large Ghanaian community, especially in Toronto, and fans there have been asking for a Black Sherif headline show for some time.

The Sun Swagga Tour is not new. Earlier this year, the tour took Black Sherif to New York, and the Canadian dates now extend the run into 2027.

A busy season for Blacko

The tour news comes during a productive spell for the “Kwaku the Traveller” star. He recently released Love Again featuring Full Blown, and before that he dropped Run Around. On Instagram, he has been teasing more visuals for Love Again, signing those posts off with “SS” and a sun emoji.

For fans in Ghana, the Canada announcement is another sign of how far Black Sherif’s music has travelled since “First Sermon” and “Second Sermon” first put him on the map.
