Sarkodie Releases ‘Cold’ Visualizer With OliveTheBoy, Second Single From Deja Vu EP

Sarkodie has put out the visualizer for ‘Cold’, his new single featuring OliveTheBoy and the second song from his upcoming Deja Vu EP.

The rapper shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, 29 October, writing that the “COLD” visualizer was “OUT NOW” and adding that the audio would follow at midnight. Later that evening he posted the YouTube link on X, where the video is titled “Sarkodie – Cold ft. OliveTheBoy (Visualizer)”.

When will Sarkodie’s Cold be released?

The audio version of ‘Cold’ is out on Friday, 30 October 2026. Sarkodie had already flagged the date on X on Wednesday, describing the song as the “Second single off #DeJaVu EP” and sharing a pre-save link for fans who wanted it on their playlists the moment it landed. The visualizer arrived a few hours earlier, so fans got a first listen on YouTube before the streaming platforms.

The visualizer artwork keeps things simple: the word “COLD” in big block letters with the names Sarkodie and OliveTheBoy underneath.

The road to the Deja Vu EP

‘Cold’ follows ‘Deja Vu’, the KiDi-assisted lead single that Sarkodie used to announce the new project earlier this month. KiDi shared that one on Instagram with the line “@sarkodie called and I answered.”

When Sarkodie first announced ‘Cold’ as the next single, he did not give a full tracklist or a release date for the EP itself, and he has not shared those details yet. So far, two songs are out, each with a different featured act.

Sarkodie and OliveTheBoy

The collaboration pairs one of Ghana’s biggest rappers with one of the younger voices getting a lot of attention right now. OliveTheBoy has been busy on his own side too, recently teasing his O’Live Experience show at the National Theatre.

It has also been a busy month for Sarkodie. He headlined Rapperholic in Kumasi last weekend, and he is already promoting the UK edition of the concert, set for The O2 in London on 6 March 2027.
