Kofi Kinaata – Boot 4 Boot
Kofi Kinaata Boot 4 Boot is the new single from the Takoradi star, released on 2 November 2026 under his Team Move imprint. The song comes with an audio slide on his official YouTube channel and is available on the major streaming platforms.
Some fans have been typing the name into search as “Boot for Boot”, but the song is spelt Boot 4 Boot. Either way, it is the new Kofi Kinaata song that fans are discussing this week.
OT Woode and Willis Beatz produced Kofi Kinaata Boot 4 Boot. OT Woode is a familiar name on the Kinaata team, since he also produced the earlier single “10 Over 10”, which came out in February 2026. Willis Beatz joins him this time, and together they give the song a rhythm-led, Afrobeats-leaning feel.
Kinaata’s voice and his turn of phrase have always been the main attraction for his fans, and they carry this record from start to finish.

Born Martin King Arthur on 15 April 1990, Kofi Kinaata is a Ghanaian musician and songwriter from Takoradi. He is known for his Fante rap and freestyle, and many fans call him the Fante Rap God, or FRG for short.
He grew up in Effiakuma, a residential town in Takoradi in the Western Region. He attended Nana Brempong Yaw School for his primary education and Takoradi Technical Institute for secondary school.
His music career began to take shape in 2009, when he took part in the Melody FM Kasahari rap competition and finished as first runner-up. He released his first single, “Obi Ne Ba”, in 2011.
In 2013 he joined the High Grade Family, the music collective founded by Samini. The mentorship and exposure there brought him national attention.
In December 2015 he released “Made in Taadi”. Fante people praised the song for its references to Ankos, the fancy dress and masquerade carnival the Fante hold every 24 December. Kinaata is also noted for his unusual rhyme schemes and humorous rap style.
The new single follows a busy year of releases. In February 2026 he put out “10 Over 10”, produced by OT Woode. He followed it in April with “For Nothing”, and a second version of that song, titled “For Nothing (Dr. Likee Akabenezer)”, appeared a few days later.
In June 2026 he shared “Black Stars” as both an audio slide and a visualiser. You can read more about that song in our earlier post on Black Stars. Across these releases Kinaata has kept a steady pace, with a new record every couple of months.
Earlier in 2026 he also appeared in a Taadi Pozzo Corporate Highlife Show upload on his channel, dated January 2026. Much of his work is tied to his home city and the people who follow him there.
That connection to Takoradi and the Fante language is a large part of why he has built such a loyal following. A new Kinaata single always draws attention in Ghana, from radio presenters to fans trading opinions in comment sections. Boot 4 Boot is likely to keep that conversation going into the festive season.
